No class this week. And exams coming. Nevermind. This post is dedicated to EVERYONE who was involved in designing, developing, instructing and evaluating this course, and all who took part (MY COURSEMATES YOOOOOO TESL babes I'm calling out to you guys) Thank you for the wonderful experience. I have stressed over this course, glad I took this course, hate myself a little for disliking this course (at first) and finally completed this course. It was a roller coaster ride, and I am so glad that I dedicated my time and energy to complete all the assignments, because I am the one who gained the most through this experience. Special thanks to Dr Fariza, the course coordinator and my tutorial lecturer who was so nice and warm and considerate! Busy woman with a big heart and a beautiful smile. Thank you for spending your time and catering to our educational needs, to contribute to our learning and especially for coordinating this course so well. That's the end of this blog. I hope you (reader) had a great time with me. Sorry if my language somehow insulted you or made you uncomfortable. Till we meet again.

Lalala. Graphic designs. We all know what attracts our attention and what repulse us, but we don't know what EXACTLY. Turns out visual designs depend on many things: space, line, surface/layout, 3D and 2D presentation. I have a taste for monochromes, minimalist designs. Some people like it loud, but the important thing here is how the information could be transferred through these graphics, so I am sure simple and neat is best. Choose simple serif fonts, words that have high contrast with the background, adequate spacing with harmonious design that doesn't scream LOOK AT ME!!!!!! in a bad way. I think this rule can be applied to any form of designing. Website, info graphics, PowerPoint presentations and so on. Focus on one aspect or element, which is the objective of your media/graphic, and paint around it. Even distance between letters or rows make a difference. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: OUR AUGMENTED REALITY ASSIGNMENT IS DONE!!!!!! I cannot believe it!!!! Check it out here. Thousand Thanks to my groupmates Mei Lin, Pris and Miza!!! I love them so much. This is our baby. Shame I didn't take photo of the end product, a cute ring-bind booklet, but I hope Dr Fariza enjoys our little 'present'. I had a lot of fun making it with my friends, and THANK YOU DR, for helping us out with the technical problem which caused one of the videos to not be able to load, glad it's resolved now. Look at my video! I took such a long time to produce this, more than 3 hours. I am quite a perfectionist so I had to cater to every single detail. TADA!! These are my AR cards. I am really impressed that Animaker have so many fancy fonts and animations to suit all my needs!
Necrophobia is an anxiety disorder that is triggered when a person is surrounded by anything associated with death. Probably everyone has slight tendency of this phobia but I am sure it is normal, as we believe in spirits and ghosts and whatever that lurks in the darkness or hides under your bed. BOO! |
