First tutorial class. BRR. Was in this classroom in the first semester for another CITRA course, Komputer dalam Pendidikan. So our job is to do a Weebly account and our own personal website. I continued using my previous account and hid the pages of my last assignments. It is a lot of work. Not to badmouth anything but this course is quite time-consuming and soul-crushing *sobs*. Might be a bad idea to take full credit hours this semester. Anyways, I had changed the layout of my Weebly and tried to make it simpler. Didn't understand the differences of a blog and a page, but now I do! Wow. It must be cool when I show it to my future employer, not sure how far along the road that would be, I am not quite ready to show my flawed website to the world. Hiak hiak.. Today was a good day after all.

Never thought 21st century classroom would be part of my university experience, but now it seems like social media, video presentations and interactive online games are undeniably a huge slice of my education pie. Already exposed to various online tools and applications that ease learning through a course in Year one, PiktoChart is something I have heard of but never tried before. The layout is very similar to Canva, another online poster maker I am familiar with, but a coursemate told me it is more user-friendly and easier to operate. Tried out a few functions and scrolled through the templates, simply brilliant. Dr Fariza walked us through its elements quite thoroughly, and gave us a one-month free access to the pro version (THANK YOU!), I kept the link but would only activate it later, when it would be put to good use for my assignments close to the end of the semester. Ye who enter, a little treat from me - magic.piktochart.com/plans - good things are meant to be shared! Now lets talk about the lecture on TPACK. This is a very interesting topic, as it emphasizes the importance of Technological, Content and Pedagogical Knowledge not individually, but as a whole. All three elements work hand in hand to create the best effect: using the knowledge of technology (how to use and its importance in solving certain problems hindering learning) combined with teaching strategies (how students learn and classroom management) designed specifically based on the type of content (theories, concepts, ideas, etc) intended to be instructed to the learners. These skills are important especially in planning lessons, syllables or event proforma for courses. Thank you Dr Fariza for giving us such a meaningful learning experience, combined with all types of knowledge that enabled us to achieve our full potential through this course.
